The Odessa Trading Emporium came into being during 2018.

It initially started life as an Auction House Vendor selling small collectible items through UK Auction Houses and was the brainchild of Carl Hayward who had been inspired by a Raconteur from Huddersfield in West Yorkshire.

In its early days it specialised in selling Japanese Netsuke, Inro and Snuff / Scent Bottles.

Upon a visit to Odessa, Ukraine, Carl realised that there was great business potential buying item’s unique to Ukraine and bringing them back to the UK to sell.

As a result of this Carl now purchases from many different countries including the UK an array of new and second hand products and makes them available through this, his very own online shop, Odessa Trading Emporium.
